Elegant Terns - 16 March 2009 - Scamon's Lagoon, Baja, Mexico. My best birding photo. This was taken from a small boat while on a whale watching day trip out of Guerrero Negro, Baja. It was kind of a fluke, the coxswain saw the birds, slowed down and got close to shore but did not stop the boat. Took the picture with the long lens while moving and was surprised the photo came out so well.
